FAMILY

Family is something that stands for a thousand meanings. In my definition a family is a group of people, dosen't matter how big or small, who stand by you. They definitely don't have to be related to you by blood. Family is what keeps you going from my understanding.

I have an amazing supportive family. Even though my parents divorced I have a great support system from both sides of the family which makes me very grateful. My family consists of my mother, my father, my step-father, my brother, and my two step- brothers. I cant leave out my puppy, Gracie.

Every single member in my family is so loving and caring and made me who I am today. I have earned so many personality traits, not just physical, from just being around my family. They give me their humor and their intelligence. They also give me there bravery and sensitivity. I believe that I have a very hard working and devoted family. They are always working and striving to do well to support our family. I also predict that they have given that trait to me since I'm a hard worker at the age of 14. I started working at a job at the age of 13.

It dosen't matter if you have the wealthiest family or the smartest family, it matters that you have a loving and caring family. I learned this statement from A Tree Grows In Brooklyn. In this book, they aren't in good living conditions and don't have money but you can still be happy from the love of your family. Everyone wants money but money for sure cant make you happy. Yes, it definitely can buy you stuff you think you may need but does it make you a better person? In my opinion, no.

I know many people who's parents have passed or they couldn't support their children and there are other figures in their life who they consider parents. That is still family. I consider a lot of people in my life who i'm not blood related to family because they are there for me and love and care for me.

Family is a small word with lots of meaning. It means hope, love, devotion, craziness, and so many more.

I would have to admit how dysfunctional my family is. We all have our ups and downs with one another. We fight over stupid things then forget about it the next day. Its also part of growing up because sometimes us kids make stupid mistakes and our parents just try to teach us right from wrong.

In conclusion, family means a lot to me and i'm so grateful for mine. I hope you are too.
